How it works
Actual Distance (yards) = delay / (1/speed_of_sound − 1/bullet_speed) / 3

IMPORTANT: Accurate results require the microphone to be near the bullet path (typically near the target). If the bullet does not pass close to the recording device, the calculated distance may be incorrect.
